Started cooking the damn gingerbread today. Holy testicles of Buddha, but it takes a long time. Each round takes two and a half fricking hours to cook. No wonder there's "no-bake gingerbread houses" websites out there. I thought they were weak-as-shits, but now I understand they were missionaries of sanity.

Had a dream last night that I met up with Sandra and Av, can't remember why, and then I got robbed. Didn't have much for them to steal, but I realised later that they'd taken my CD wallet, complete with DAAS and Voltaire, and also Buhfly and Billradish's December presents. I was unimpressed.

I have been rereading Transmetropolitan while sitting in the kitchen waiting for the gingerbread to cook. I am still missing the final book, dammit. Spider Jerusalem, with his casual violence and love of truth, remains my god.

Do you know how difficult it is to find a Hannukah card? Quite hard.

*ponders* The word "Hannukah" is spelt two different ways on the same card. Is this some sort of Jewish thing I don't understand?

This Hannukah/Chanukah card is shiny. It's very pretty. And the message inside is way better than most Christmas cards.
