I've had Sarah and Nat over at my place the last two nights...Nat Tuesday night, and Sarah last night. So, not much chance to do colouring or comic layout or whatever because my computer hasn't been my own. *sigh* That's the problem with having a cable modem...
I did get some colouring done for the FloorShow last night, but many hours later, when Sarah was using the computer to talk to Tycho and write up her latest LJ entry, we had a series of power surges (three in a row), and my computer restarted. I still have the image, of course, but it's not coloured at all. I can't believe I didn't at least save partway through! At least most of what I had done was simply colour blocking; I hadn't done much of the cleanup work around the lines, but still.
Sarah threatened/promised to set me up with a girl from her work a little while ago, and today I got a surprise phone call from her (Sarah, that is). She was at work and wanted my permission to give my phone numbers to this girl, and gave me hers. So, what was originally an amusing prospect has suddenly become far more scary. I've never been on a blind date before...
Of course, it raises all the little paranoias, what if I don't like her, what if she doesn't like me, what if she's a psychopathic killer, what if she likes Britney Spears and supports George 'Dubya' Bush... However, Sarah's friends with her, and we seem to have enough friends in common to trust her judgement. That is, of course, provided this isn't simply a cheap ploy to divert my attention because she's afraid I still lust after her body...
