Gained from ally (Girlfriend) cool hairdo. +1 against Bad Mood.
Defeated Fitting Room Mess. Gained Enlarged Foyer. +2 against clothes, +1 against hangers.

So what do you think ...?
1.
Frankly, it's hideous. It's a shapeless monstrosity that looks like every other fashion travesty that's walking the streets of Melbourne. Perhaps if you weren't trying for an 80s look (the decade that defined "shapeless"), you'd look okay. Of course, I'm not paid for my opinion, and I don't have any say over what this shop sells.

2.
That's not a corset. It's a singlet top with some flimsy plastic strips sewn into it. It's not even sturdy enough to be a bodice. Here's a clue: corsets are generally in two pieces, and are joined with a busk and laces, or sometimes just with two sets of laces. Oh, and the plastic isn't even holding it sturdy enough to be attractive. You poor little schoolgirl.

"Casual" is just another word for "Hated by the management".
Checked my shifts today. I had one shift - Friday - which I repeatedly told C---- I could not take because I was restarting classes. I have arranged an alternate shift on Saturday. The week after I have no shifts whatsoever. I have lost my Tuesday shift, which has been standard for the last few months.

I wonder whether it's time to get a new job.

On the other hand, this means I'll have the full two weeks to work on my Continuum costume, which frankly needs the time.

I've been meaning to ask, when is the Maskobalo specifically? I can't find it anywhere.

I've just discovered about 10m of a material I really like that I've hidden in the back room. It's really tempting me to make something now. I might save it to make a new jacket though.

Ooh, you ought to! Surely 10m is enough for a new jacket AND an item or two for the Maskobalo?

I just went to Spotlight today to discover that they had 1m of a fabric I needed at least 4m for. I've ordered it in another store (Box Hill) & will now have to drive there. Bah.

I'll have to decide what I'm going with/as first. Making decisions is SO not my strength.
I'll get an idea then have no idea how to make it!
It's definitely enough to make a tonnage of things, I'll need to go searching for patterns soon though.

*nods* Well, at least I know how to make mine. I'm just not sure I'll have time ... or where to get the mask from.

I've looked up a few hire places, might have a look soon. Or I might be able to make it out of paper.

I had one idea of being Little Red Riding Hood with a Wolf mask, should be easy to make the cloak. The mask should be al right to make with cut out and folded paper.
I'll have changed my mind by tomorrow!

Ooh, I like that!

I may have to do paper, too. Woe. Let me know if you find anywhere with decent animal masks.

You know how I do the comic style icons? I think I'll try to do that style cut paper built onto a cheep plastic eye piece.

I have fabric stiffening stuff (the unfortunately named, Stiffy) too, that might make it easier to make with material.

I think these would only take a little while to make, probably only a few folds and cuts too.
