changelingCan't talk this morning. Throat hurts too much. Had two panadol three quarters of an hour ago, and am waiting for it to take effect so I can go back to bed or something. Am only up because of my throat.
Wandered out to dining room, was asked by mother whether I had uni today. Made a tiny sound in lieu of reply, she told me that she knew I was "feeling miserable" but it was just a cold & to soldier on. I left the room with tears in my eyes because it was just hurting that badly, dammit.
Later she comes in and says that she does feel empathy, it's just that I have a tendency to "wallow". Gee, thanks, Mum.
Dad told me off yesterday for not seeing a doctor yet. When I mentioned to Mum, she said that I didn't need to see a doctor, I just needed some cold & flu medicine, which is bollocks. I don't have a cold. My sinuses are playing up a bit because they always play up a bit when I get sick. At least I only have to wait a bit more than an hour, and then the doctor's surgery will open.
It hurts if I turn my head too much.
