Date: 2004-12-01 04:30 am (UTC)It just started raining and there were icy winds. I am slightly content. Though, I would like a trip over to Melbourne, regardless. You had such wonderfully cool weather, I noted in the weather report.

Date: 2004-12-01 04:55 am (UTC)YOU SHOULD COME DOWN! ... since I may not be able to come up this year. We'll see. *prays for lots of work shifts*

Date: 2004-12-01 05:00 am (UTC)I am currently engaged in the frightening and cut-throat world of job hunting. *shakes head* (Damned Coles - myer, I have to apply online, and then I'm not sure I get to choose what area of Syd. I can work in. I don't have a car! I can't work in...um...Chatswood, or something!) Anyway. Where was I?
Ah...I have always *wanted* to go to Melbourne! And if I become gainfully employed, I can save up money and live out my girlish Melbournian dreams!

Date: 2004-12-01 06:19 am (UTC)WOO! That would rock. Although (FYI) they would be girlish "Melburnian" dreams. I have no idea why we drop the "o" for the adjective, but we do.

Date: 2004-12-01 02:09 pm (UTC)Crazy english language. I will not question why the o is dropped, because there is probably no reason for it. *pets language*
Yay! About getting to choose where you work. 'Tis a big issue for me.

Date: 2004-11-30 03:32 pm (UTC)Unfortunately, my sentiments are exactly the same. Especially the bit about Binky.

Date: 2004-11-30 05:06 pm (UTC)How do I create a LJ community?
Can I control who can join it?
How would I hide the identity of posters to it?
Please advise,

Yes. Make it a closed or moderated journal. Members can be added manually by you through the Community Management page if you choose the former.
I'm not certain you can. You might have to suggest people create alternate LJ accounts that have no link to their regular journals to preserve anonymity.
