It is a damn pity I didn't get involved in Threepenny earlier, as I can do enthusiasm better than most, and I convinced at least half a dozen of my uni friends that they would like to have come and seen it. What a pity I did not know the plot &c before last week, and that I skipped my classes last week. Now the world will NEVER KNOW what my rimmit friends would have thought.
I think we are all glad I merely got tipsy at the afterparty (and then left because I was tired and frankly was not going to get another offer to drive me to my car). I do not get drunk often. At the moment all that being drunk is causing me to do is giggle a little, slide off my chair, want to post copious entries to livejournal and retard my typing. Possibly my syntax, but I'm too drunk to be able to read properly. Nevertheless, I am making it manfully through my friends list. MANFULLY, I SAY.
Haha. I want to call up Steph and ramble drunkenly at her, but I daresay she (like most sensible people) is asleep.
Is this my fourth glass I see before me? Why, I do declare it IS.
Look at me being sober. No, really I am.
Guess what? Mike workshopped a short story in ... well, Short Story class today. I mentioned earlier the anecdote about the first Mackie and how he wore a sky-blue cravat (we were studying Stephen King and the Horror genre - can't you see the connection?), and his short story talked about Threepenny and about what he termed a sea-blue bow-tie.
I think I'm going to fall off my chair again. Whoops.
Aren't you glad you're not here to see me disgrace myself with drunkenness? Though it's possible this would be more amusing in person. I can't tell. I do know it's taking me forever to type out - not because I'm slower, but because of all the bally mistakes I'm making. By the bye, did you know I've made 1,557 posts? 1,558 by the time I click the little "Post entry" button on this one. I can't help but suspect I shall regret this mightily in the morning, but if one does not make drunken LJ posts at 1.12 in the morning, what can one do? (Take up politics, perhaps)
I needs images. To make teh Threeepenny icons that will be forthcoming. Steeeeeeeeeeeeephhhhanie. Where is your EMAIL?
Haha. Hehehe.

Date: 2004-10-18 08:39 am (UTC)I think this was an excellent drunken post. I have seen many in my time at livejournal, and I must say this one is rather nice. It seems to have plot, and that wonderfully rambly form one comes to expect from drunken (and half drunken) posts.
Also, you have used the word MANFULLY and I love you greatly for it.
