I've just heard through the MHS old boys network (in this case, Nick) that Ray Willis has passed away. He'll be missed. His wife Ruth taught me English in year 9, and she's a wonderful person, too. Every time I saw them at a function (including at least one MHS formal), they always had a nice word. Ray knew who I was. He cared about the students. He was the Ethos of Melbourne High and will be sorely missed.
