I am still teh crazy, and not in a good way. I'm getting better, though.

Went to the cousins' tonight. (Damn, but it's hard to refer to them in this blog considering we always refer to them by their surname...!) Andrew & Steven's respective girlfriends were both over. Both of them are called Jess. This is strange. This was the first time I'd met Jess the Younger. We played Spoons. And Pictionary. Not at the same time.

I watched a movie about George Sand and Chopin today. It had Judy whatshername, the Australian... Davis. And English pretty-boy-with-the-blue-eyes... Four Weddings guy... erm... Hugh Grant. Ma decided she wanted to watch it, too, and put it on in the other room (we have two rooms with cable and tv). This was odd when she had laughing fits a couple of times. My mother is strange.

Buhfly made me a wallpaper, and it is Pritty. I like it. I now have a new desktop. :D!

Um... that's it, I think. *sidles off*

Keep in touch with me for a year or so and it'll happen. *g* I have too many friends in your area not to try and make it down there.

And...dude. Australia. =D

No guarentees specifically on the March thing. XD I'm hoping to move out of home before I come visit y'all. >_> That should be happening October/November, if I'm lucky.

And I'm gonna need SO much vacation time. XD I want at least two weeks, damnit.

I rented that movie over the summer--there's just something that appeals to me about period pieces in general, the slower pacing, the costumes, the plotting, the string quartets... I like to imagine myself at some soiree in a confection of a gown, drinking claret (what IS claret?) and laying my wicked, wicked plans while trading bored bon mots.

*nods* Me too. Only I'd be Sandian and dress like the boys.

A claret's a type of red wine. Don't know details. 's why it's a euphemism for blood.

That's a beautful wallpaper.

I watched a movie about George Sand and Chopin today.

I've seen that movie. I thought it was cool up to the point where they actually hooked up and there were fuzzy sunny happy scenes and I got irritated and stopped watching it. Which probably says something about my temperament, or something.

It ended pretty soon after the fuzzy happy scenes. So yay! Not many fuzzy scenes at all. :D!

Oh, but I couldn't handle the few scant moments of fuzzy sunny happiness. I fled mumbling and grumbling, unsatisfied that the whole pleasing 'i sort of love you but I can't sleep with you' thing was over. That was fun to watch...

Hmm. George Sand/Chopin film sounds modrately interesting. I suspect I might have had laughing fits, too, though I dare say Hugh Grant is effete enough for Chopin.

[Somewhere there is a film about Percy Grainger called Passion with Richard Roxburgh (!). I expect whips featured heavily in it. Actually, the Grainger Museum is quite interesting for PG's collection of 1920s pr0n, whips, and photographs of his recently-flagellated bottom. Good ole Perce.]

*snerks* He is. Also has Emma Thompson in it.

[I know. I've seen about ten minutes of said flick. The first ten, I think.]

Well if it has Emma Thompson in it, I might like it. And, well, y'know I like Chopin.
