Sep. 19th, 2003 03:29 amFuck, I'm tired. So little to do, so much time. No, wait; strike that. Reverse it.
Spent farking hours cleaning my car from top to bottom... throwing stuff out, moving things to the house, vaccuuming it, and washing it. The washing took about four times longer than it should have, due to water restrictions (It all had to be done by hand; no hose for me! No pantaloons, either).
So. Then we went to Chadstone and bought stuff. I ended up buying very little, as Sara whooshed around Bilo at only a fraction below the speed of light, and I had no time to think. Lucky I already have my eight boxes of pocky stowed in the car. So, shopping was stowed, although it ended up taking up half of the boot space, and I drove people to their respective homes. Extremely unluckily, Nat hasn't had time to pack, so now there's a huge song-and-dance about having to somehow meet up tomorrow to shove her lot in. If I get up early enough tomorrow, as is seeming extremely unlikely, I need to make a detour on my way in to meet Tati in the city. Otherwise, she has to meet me in Armadale afterwards. This is where Janet's "if only"s come into play; if only Nat had got around to packing her bag before now, all this would have been avoided. Nothing we can do about it now.
I admittedly had not yet packed my bag, but as the designated driver whose car it is, this is highly forgivable. I have no one to meet up with but myself and Kurt (the car. Don't look at me like that.)
Just got the bag mostly packed, but due to my extreme tiredness, I am having severe Alzheimer's, where I keep forgetting in a matter of minutes what I was about to do, and have to stop until I remember it again. So if I turn up without any underwear tomorrow, that's why. Shit; just remembered I have not yet packed my second skirt. That would have been entertaining.
Note to my fingers, after that little charade: can we grip, please? It's not that difficult. You've been successfully doing it for years. Accurate typing is another little trick that I know you're good at. I also know that I can spell, so please communicate this to the screen, without all those little bonus letters you've been adding recently. Knock that shit off.
I'm so not looking forward to the drive. I may enjoy it tomorrow, but now? No. Besides all that, the email with the details says that the venue isn't at Bendigo at all (it completely fails to mention it), so I also have no idea where we're going. Ferfuck'ssake.
I really don't want to get up tomorrow. I want to sleep in. On the down side, it means not meeting up with Tati, who I have not seen for around a twelvemonth or so. On the other hand, I have not yet rang into work to confirm any sort of employment for next week... Erg.
Also? Don't wanna drive to South Melbourne. Don'twannawannawanna. It'll be stressy, and I'll get lost. I promise you.
If I sound bitter or nasty, it's because of the late hour. Really. Wait until tomorrow. I'll probably be... well, tired and nasty. At least until lunchtime. Sigh.
And if all my delightful online friends haven't caught the upshot of all this yet, I'm going away for the weekend. Nosmack internet until Monday. See you then, and take care of yourselves!
And Radish? Six of the last eight comment-emails I got were from you. You don't thinkyou talk too much we're a bit chatty sometimes? *snurgles*
