Feb. 20th, 2003 02:55 amI love Jesus Christ Superstar to bits, but dude. What's with multiple people on my friends list posting it independantly of one another? That's just creepy.
I love Dru. I just did a tiny animated gif icon for
mon_starling because I can. See? *points*
It's not going to be there very long, just until I found out whether she likes it or not. Then I go back to my regular fully-GIR icons.
So freaking tired. But I also have my stomach in knots about the interview at uni (to find out whether they throw me out or not) tomorrow, so I know I'm not going to sleep well. I slept badly enough last night. Slept almost the whole day to try and catch up.
Only went to Mickey's tonight because I was avoiding talking to my parents about tomorrow. This is a Very Bad Sign. We had enormous amounts of fun anyway, and I ran into someone from my primary school. This is a school that had about 200 students at most, and was in a completely different quadrant of the city to Mickey's place (this is probably more significant that you may think). And she's going out with a guy from Melbourne High, again, a completely different area of the city. Most weird part of the night.
I had huge amounts of fun, though, and Mickey's comedy routine he was previewing for us genuinely rocks, which was relieving. It needs tightening up in a few places, but that will probably come with time and practise. Liam and Saxon and I sang DAAS songs together, which is something we haven't done in ages. We even got a request for Jack, which is one of my most favourite DAAS songs ever. So pretty.
I also met a couple of Cool Techie guys, who I'm gonna guess work with Mickey. One has a Northern American accent (I'm not sure where he's from, and I'd hate to call him an American if it turns out he was from Canada or something) and the other didn't. I don't remember their names.
Wrote quite a bit more of A Short Story I'm Currently Writing Involving a Guy Called Markus, which I started a couple of days ago. It's in a very strange voice, and I'm not quite sure how to shake that, or even where I've picked it up from. Not sure I'm completely enamoured with the voice. I'll just have to hope it works okay. I'll have to write more, and then get people to read it. :)
So: to bed. You'll find out whether the uni dry-fuck me and leave me for dead by the roadside (in which case I plan on committing seppuku) or not tomorrow.

Date: 2003-02-19 08:02 am (UTC)Well, I'll prolly post it when it's further along, but it's just been started and it's about 2 1/2 pages of A5, so it's prolly about 200 words along at the moment.
So do I...so do I. *is terrified*
