Guh. My computer committed suicide last night.

We're not sure what the hell's gone wrong, but we're pretty sure that if I buy a new motherboard and processor, it'll all go away. That'll set me back around $300. Hopefully Dad'll let me pay him back on installment plan.

More bad news is that I can't get onto my hard drive to even just upload one of the many pre-drawn comics we have. Can't use all the wonderful "art" I have on my hard drive that I create the strips with. So, rather than disappoint our loyal audience (?), I'm cobbling a new strip together from old materials on my father's computer on...paint.

Hell does exist.

Dad does have Windows XP on his computer, which is technically spankier than 98, but he also has single-click enabled. I hate single-click with a violent passion. I've been working on this comic for just over half an hour, and I haven't got the first frame finished. I haven't even got the relevant font installed.

And I just broke his operating system. Shoot me now.

Condolences for your computer's untimely demise. Hope it comes back to life soon. Want more comic. Can sympathise about single click thing. Evilll. *growls* XP is also Evilll. But in a different kind of Evilll way. Paint is gacky once you've gotten used to all the nice things that other programs do.

But then, you probably know all of this already.
So I'll go away and nurse my probably RSI-ed fingers by myself.
