As a sort of side note, I was pleased that I'd started using my Dreamwidth again. And then I started building 750 Words/morning pages into my day, and all my momentum disappeared, as I was essentially blogging there each morning. I had intentions to copy-pasta some of that over here, but obviously that hasn't happened. We'll see how this goes; I'm still bedding down that habit, and I would like to keep blogging here. I'm finally enjoying it again, instead of seeing it as something I "ought" to do.

Ooh, thank you!

I am still fascinated by wasabi, I must say. It's sort of like a flash-fire or a pin-prick or something. I can't quite get my head around it. I don't actually like the flavour very much, but the suddenness both of attack and disappearance is strangely appealing.

I wasn't very interested in wasabi until I properly developed my taste for horseradish, I must say. Once I realised that the flavour that I liked in Yumi's beetroot dip was horseradish, I haven't looked back. Or possibly more accurately, my mashed potatoes haven't looked back. (I reflexively add mustard and horseradish to my mash these days. So. Good. Although portabello sandwiches with mustard and horseradish are also good, although something I make with less regularity.)
