Trying to read books on Greek mythology to reconstruct ritual practices is like trying to read the Narnia books to reconstruct Victorian Christianity.

Okay, so I feel like that isn't true for the Odyssey. That story is full of primary source goodness. But the myths? Like Ovid **mind bendy** eeekk!
