Aug. 23rd, 2006 10:33 pmEvery time I come to update my livejournal either nothing's changed or everything's changed. S—— and I went out to see a movie Friday night as we'd arranged. We ended up seeing Confetti, which helped me out of my depression, a little. Saturday we drove back home, drove back to the other side of the city for Plush Pizza and a labyrinth walk, which helped get things in perspective a bit. Sunday I went to writer's group, though only Jess could make it. I was seedy and ill, and Jess had a mother of a hangover.
Last night we went to Jess's to see if we could feasibly move in with her, as her cousin had moved out and she needed a roommate.
The room ended up being far too small (though her apartment is nice), and I cried all the way back to my parents' place. We have decided that I am giving up the job I currently have with the nursing home, which requires us changing houses twice a week, just as soon as I finish typing up the Care Plans for the hostel (or as S—— puts it, as soon as I morally feel able). Mum just came to me tonight and asked if I could do another day's work at Central Office, which I think I'll accept. It's a one-off, not an ongoing thing, and it's closer to home and so wouldn't mean changing house again.
It's all very late. This was supposed to be more muse-y than it is, but that's what happens when it takes an hour to post an LJ post.
