Nothing soothes the pain of a suddenly lost friendship that you've treasured like paid Livejournal time.

I'm being flippant and perfectly serious at the same time. It's not the niftiness of new LJ things to play with - although that's very nice - but the gesture made by friends. Thank you, Raven. Thank you, Rose. It's very much appreciated, and very sweet. I really want to catch up again soon, by the way. An email will follow this week (all going to plan).

I also am glad (in a small way) for what has happened, because it has shown me just how grown-up and wise my littlest sister is becoming. K---, I'm so proud of you.
