No longer in stinkily hot Proserpine and AirlieBeach;we are nowin merely hot Brisbane,and we have an internet connexion through a crotchety computer whose spacebar refuses to work.The green tree snake from the backyard sayshi.

Green tree snake!!! The first ever real-life snake I saw was one of those. I love them.

If it's any consolation, it's stinky hot here, too, and there's a choking grey smog floating around on the ground and it looks startlingly unhealthy.

Ours was quitepretty, sort ofan emeraldcolourontop and buttercup yellow underneath.

That's not good!Therewas smoggish weatheron thedrivedown,but I think it was either a bushfire orsomeone doing some burning off.
