The SBDs & the FFFs ...
May. 31st, 2005 11:52 amWhew, first time online in ages.
I've spent the morning being semi-productive. I haven't put all my clothes away yet, but I've been working on my Young Adult short story due last week. I've just spent the last hour or so, in fact, writing about farts. What is the world coming to?
P.S. What the hell is Memorial Day?

Date: 2005-05-31 06:26 pm (UTC)When I was little, it was different. I don't think it was always on a Monday.... Anyway, on Memorial Day, every house would have an American flag flying in their front yard. There were memorial commerical snippety things and people actually thought about it and gave thanks for their freedom.
Now, it's just a reason to have barbecues and a three day weekend. *shrug* Times change.

Australia: "Hey, guys? Um, Britain? Can you come play? I'm getting in trouble ..."
"Uh, sorry. We're busy. Some other day, 'kay?"
"... Um. 'Kay. It's just that ... y'know, we're in a bit of trouble. Singapore an' all? Please?"
"La la la la, can't HEAR you!"
