WATCH OUT! I may WRITE SOMETHING!
Dec. 9th, 2004 10:24 pmWhee!
After much discussion with
mattador, it seems my Apollo piece has been accepted and is now part of the Olympus High canon. This amuses and flatters me. And, after wrestling with LJ, which apparently no longer emails you with notifications when you're added to a community, I am a MEMBAH. I'm contemplating writing a Dionysus piece tonight, but I don't want it to seem that I'm taking over something that really belongs to
mattador,
i_smile and
lesstraveled.
...although I've just discovered that
i_smile is also an Aussie, admittedly one from the arse end other side of the continent. This is amusing.
I did very little today but attempt to sleep in the morning (mother woke me to give me my mail. Why? It was not ticking, nor was it leaking blood. IT COULD HAVE WAITED! The sleep was necessary. I have not been getting enough of it the last few days. Also, it was story-dream type sleep, which I'm always reticent to wake from, in case I get an idea for a new story.
...and that was about it, though I did get to see some Little Britain, including a surprise cameo byGiles Anthony Stewart Head, which was exceedingly nifty.
Also there were storms, and my dogs went kerazy. Littlest and I had to spend ages taking turns calming them down.
Oh yeah. My life is so fun filled.

Date: 2004-12-11 05:32 am (UTC)Many strange twists of fate have always occurred and I only ever get to watch the final 15 minutes of the show. It's miserable, really. *pout* Last week was...well, here is an extremely truncated synopsis, ill-remembered, and possibly half-made up, of the prime minister segment -
SCENE: A group of important looking men in suits discuss things in a hotel room. They leave, one uniquely-haired man stays behind with the prime minister.
Man: I thought they'd never leave!
PM: Er, Yes. *attends to phone buisness*
Man: gets drinks, gets completely naked, gets into bed, unbeknownst to PM. Interrupts phone call. The Prime Minister is busy, go away!
PM: *turns around, stares in bewilderment* *keeps staring*
-Cut to next scene-
At least, that is how I remember it....
