Oct. 14th, 2004 01:28 amI'm dizzy-tired again. Blah. Still, amn't needed in theatre until 5.30 tomorrow. Will sleep, then finish comic, then (hopefully) start pencils for new comic I scripted tonight, lovingly dedicated to the Threepenny cast.
I wonder if I'm the only one who wants to read Macheath/Brown slash? Or Polly/Lucy, come to that. (Don't look at me like that. Polly has this line which is something like, "I never expected to fall in love with a man", and I always expect the emphasis on the final syllable...)
Then I plan on going to the theatre tomorrow and skewering the fucktard who left the blue trunk, aluminium bucket and wooden crate onstage in the final scene.
...Die Dreigroschenoper ('The Threepenny Opera') in 1928. Based on John Gay's The Beggar's Opera of 1728, the work is the product of a highly successful collaboration between playwright Bertolt Brecht and composer Kurt Weill.
