Got an email from Coles Myer today, to say that I've managed to make it to the next level, despite the section of the online test they asked me to do where they asked me to state my preferences on a whole lot of things: "Would you rather... sell stuff, or do a dance?"
"Oooh, dance!"
"Would you rather... sell stuff, or kill kittens?"
"Oooh, kittens!"
"Would you rather... sell stuff, or poke your eyes out with sporks?"
"Hmm. Tough choice. I'll take sporks."

Conclusion: they're really desperate for staff.

Am amused by how many of my friends apply for Coles Myer jobs.
Hey, when are we going to do something? I've been in Victoria for oh, awhile now, and have a feeling you'll end up being the friend I desperately try to catch up with but somehow we always miss each other...

And I have two friends already working for Myer, so it is a bit weird. One of whom works in admin/management.

Friday I have this job interview until 5, but am free after that. Similarly, there is a poetry reading I'm involved with that is going on Sunday if you're interested? It's at Vibe (123 Smith St, Collingwood) from 4-6. It will be good. We have guest poets, and Declan Fay is MCing.

On that article - first of all yikes, but not really unexpected.

Secondly - am I the only one who's getting REALLY sick of people suing the ridiculous words 'misspoke' and 'misstate'? The word is LIED.
