A sock in a drawer; a sock in the face; a family quilt; a broken home; a suicide attempt; a family torn apart; feuding lovers; a convict turned seamstress; a dissatisfied surgeon; a neglected task; a patched up relationship; refugees with no voice; attitude; defying the law
What’s in a name? Stitch This! is the adhesive that binds a proudly disparate group of writers and poets under a single title. Short story and poetry submissions to Stitch This! Visible Ink’s 2004 short story and poetry anthology should use ideas conjured by this theme.
For more details about the 2004 short story competition please download a copy of the competition guidelines.
RMIT students interested in sending in poems or short stories under the general submission category should download a copy of the RMIT students submission guidelines.
Come on, I know there's stacks of writers out there. Give it a go!
