All my operations are timing out when trying to connect to websites. I think this is my computer's way of pointing me towards bed.

I subscribe to the belief that a computer used by somebody frequently over a period of time begins to take on some of the behaviour of said user. Ergo, my computer behaves evilly every once in awhile, misplacing files, BSoD-ing me, etc, etc.
I threaten to reinstall Windows 3.11 onto it, and it' subsides, behaving for about another month or so.
You should try that sometime. Well that, or your computer is too ill-behaved to do somethign nice. *G* And yes, I do realize the consequences of sucha comment. But I'm feeling lucky right now.
