Surprise birthday pistol-whip
Feb. 29th, 2004 10:43 pmHoom. My friends are all evil bastards, and I am utterly clueless.
Went for a cycle with Chris 'round near his place. 'Twas awesome. Afterwards, when scooting by the gazebo in the local park, I spotted a face that looked familiar--Tych. However, I assumed that he was out and about with his Aikido/drinking buddies or something. Then I saw Sax, and I knew this wasn't the case.
Lots of people turned up, and now I come to think of it, most of my friends have LJs. I could actually link to all their LJ URLs, but I'm lazy and that seems pretty damned lame, so I'm not going to.
Steph and Jacinta made a fanart-comic for Wackiness as part of their birthday present, and Laim got me the One Perfect Day soundtrack, because he's an angel, and everyone else chipped in and got me... AN XBOX. With Halo. And Morrowind. D000000d. So we skidded back to Chris's, and played Halo until far too late. Steph and I went and cast a circle and sat in it talking about stuff, and we lit sparklers (okay, that was before), then Liam turned up again and we played more Halo. That was about it, really. My back and shoulders played up like a mofo, giving me sharp shooting pains, and I was nauseous and retching from lack of sleep at the latter end of the night, but it was mostly good.

Date: 2004-02-29 04:58 pm (UTC)I started Morrowind on PC (I've got a dodgy copy from a friend), and it was slow because my PC only had the most minimal of system requirements. I also found that I couldn't remember all the keys I needed to play it effectively--the same problem I've always had with PC FPS, coincidentally. ;) I started a game last night, and so far I'm not dead, which is a good start, I think.
I don't have much spare money at the moment, but I'll certainly keep that in mind!
VIVA LA HALO REVOLUCIÓN!
