changelingWent to Emma's party as Delirium. I rocked so hard.
Tried to move on to Lana's, but her phone was not on. I left about four messages, but she never called me back. I didn't know where they were clubbing. I stayed at Emma's. I had fun. I met people. I was Social. Go me.
EMMA'S HOUSEMATE HAS AN XBOX. This was one of the first things I noticed. The only two games on the shelf he had were Halo (wh00t!) and Morrowind (double wh00t!). I discussed Halo with him at length. He needs to get more than two controllers, dammit, so he can fully appreciate the gloriousness of multiplayer mode.
Now, I am tired, and my cramps are beginning to twinge again. It was a good night. G'night.
I think my womb's trying out for the Menstruation Olympics. 'Cause I couldn't have a normal flow, oh no. *kicks womb* I should have been a sexless being. No menstruation, no poorly designed external genitals.
TYBALT? Monte Cristo. Hahaha. I liked that movie. I should read the book some time. I must say, that comic does throw a certain light on the relationship of the two main male characters...
I remember Nat and I leaving that movie and comparing the three main characters (the woman, Guy Pierce, and the dark, handsome lead, henceforth known as DHL) to Mik, Tybalt, and Harley. Yep, we're geeks. Most intelligentsia will talk about how main characters can be brought back to the Bible, or gods in ancient myth, we compare characters to our small understanding of the Mik/Harley/Tybalt dynamic from what we've seen of Utopia, This is Home and Narcolepsy. I'm just intrigued by the interplay, which is why I am sad that Sandra feels that This is Home/Narcolepsy isn't up to scratch. I still want to have read the missing pieces of the puzzle. It's like getting to the end of Salmon of Doubt. I am so drawn in by her characters and situations that I haven't noticed bad writing. I know what it's like to be a perfectionist, though. *whistles innocently*
