changelingWell. What a day...
Spent this afternoon trying to copy down all that I'd written yesterday into my notebook so it was actually portable, rather than stuck on my computer. I have so far not succeeded in getting all of it down, which is not good. And I have only written 74 words today, which is worse.
Tomorrow I am planning on driving up to the park by Wendy's and writing. The first big writing day this month I had because I was stuck in a park and thusly couldn't distract myself. Tomorrow I need to write at least more than six thou in order to be on schedule for finishing it this month.
I wrote on my dad's laptop yesterday, and it was the best thing in the whole world. I can go sit on my bed, and not distract myself with the internet. It's wonderful. I'm hoping I can borrow it from him this weekend for the final push. God knows I'll need it.
Who keeps arranging stuff through November so I keep being social instead of writing?? Honestly! I mean, Tych has his birthday this Saturday, when I'll probably be bleeding from the eyes because I've been up for 72 hours straight. And I went out with coffee group tonight to "celebrate" Suzie buggering off to Canberra. I had a nice time with her tonight, and I'll miss her when she's up there. She and I have plans to learn the cello, and possibly move out together in February (not just the two of us, of course!). That would be excellent. Pipe dreams are always fun.
So. Tonight had good bits and not-quite-as-good bits. Overall it was pretty enjoyable. I had a mocktail (I was driving home), and I must say it wasn't one of the best I've ever had. And I needed a spoon, as half the glass was filled with chunks of fruit I couldn't get out.
Ergh. Sofuckingtired. I'm not going to be online much for the rest of the week, by the way. I'm going to be desperately trying to write my NaNoWriMo novel.
