I was going to draw little chibi things for Chris and Sara's wedding cards, but after sketching them, I then got on the computer and procrastinated for three hours. Now I'm looking at them and they look awful. Sigh. Screw it. Maybe if they want them, I'll ink them and everything, and give them to them next week, but I'm buggered if I'm going to stay up late to work on a piece of "art" that I hate this much.

I'll probably change my mind in the morning and hate myself for it.


The final panel in today's BMB really amuses me.


I need to step back and remind myself that not everyone cares when I manage to finish some writing. It pretty much only has significance for me.


Dad went and spoke to the guy in charge of the Writing and Editing subject at Rimmit, and apparently they're more interested in quality than whether you have been published. This puts my mind to rest. I'm going to apply for the subject later this year.


I still can't believe it's Chris and Sara's wedding this weekend. This is something that is just totally anathema to my world. We had the final fittings today. It's exciting.

Good lord, but there's absolutely no chance that I'm going to be ready to leave tomorrow. Far too much to do, and I need to do lots of washing and packing. Dyeing of hair. (Maybe I can just do that in Castlemaine...) Not to mention wrapping. Bets I don't get up before 12? I'm so fucked.


I can't think of anything else to add, and I'm feeling a bit depressed. I'm going to bed.
