Jun. 15th, 2003 11:25 pmI think this is one of the most beautiful and sad stories I've ever read.
Spent this afternoon watching extras from X-Men. So did the rest of my friends list, apparently (well, two other people. Still, that's a pretty high level of synchronicity). Maw (yes, that's Southern American for "ma") wanted to know when I have to give it back to Nat, as she'd like to watch it, now. 9_9
I was planning on going and seeing the Matrix tonight, but I got distracted, and forgot until about two hours after I'd planned on leaving.
I have no energy to repeat the entry I made up in my head on my way home last night, so I'll give you the super-condensed version I wrote down so I wouldn't forget:
Milk, juice, pints, coke, bladder, car.
This makes sense, but I revel in my mystery. *revels*
I also discovered that I'd written down a whole plot point for one of the novels I'm writing, that I thought was lost forever. Much celebration ensued.
I spent an hour or so of this evening having a bath in the dark, in the hopes that it'd help me break this damn writer's block I have with trying to start this damn book (The Shadow Boys). It's that whole first-line drama. Sigh... Found this article about first lines via Neil's journal, though.
