Jun. 13th, 2003 12:13 amOnly one fuckup - it had to be the final sound cue. Ridiculously obvious screw up, and much more dire than last night's. Bleurgh. I'm so never opping lighting and sound unless I'm paid. Far too stressful.
I swear a conspiracy's afoot to prevent me getting to the comic store and getting my copies of Scars. Yesterday it was running into Daniel, today it was some sort of accident, meaning that no trams were running where I needed them to. Can't go after work, as I go straight to the theatre. Tell you what, though... if I can't get there lunchtime tomorrow, I'm going after work. No one's there until after 6 or 6.30 anyway.
My sister made me a tape of the new Placebo CD for my car, because she rocks like that. Listened to about 9 hours of Triple J today. Am glad the microfiche machines are working again. Easier to bludge up there. Plus radio listening! I heard the new Tripod song on the Breakfast show (they were replaying it). It featured Dreamworld and Saxon from Big Brother. I naturally thought of Av. :)
Julian, I still have the money I owe you for Eddie. I'm carrying all or most of it in my wallet. What's the date for that again? Anyway. Contact me. Comment or email me, and we'll work something out. You could always come see me screw up at 10 Little Indians!
None of my family can be bothered or can arrange their schedules, so none of them are seeing Ten Little Indians. I feel abandoned.
Lungs not working properly. This is the second evening this week I've had to try to sleep around asthma. Not happy. Cannot BREEEEAAATHE.
Only one more day of work for this week! I thought it was Wednesday, so I'm very pleased.

Date: 2003-06-12 06:43 pm (UTC)And please don't say, it's because you have to work. Make an appointment for early in the morning, and tell your work you have to go to the doctor and will be late and tell them what time you'll be in. And they are LIABLE if they don't let you. They are required by law to let you go to the doctor.
You will then feel a whole lot better.
I highly recommend my doctor. She's really nice and sympathetic.

Date: 2003-06-13 07:59 am (UTC)It's really rare that my asthma is triggered - I usually have to be around shiteloads of smoke for it to affect me this markedly. At the moment I'm a bit sick, which is contributing. I'm not very stressed about my asthma. I'm no longer required to run 1.6k every year. My asthma is on the low end of mild. Don't stress.
