I'm reading Bill Bryson's Down Under, and as well as (very briefly) travel to the US to meet people I know online, (which will be a long term plan...), I want to travel around Australia, go to bits I haven't seen. Winter'd prolly be the best time...

I can't think of anything I'd rather do than sit on a train for three days watching the world go past.
