Rae is being mean. Make him stop. *hides*

The prince at the end of Disney's Beauty and the Beast is such a flaming queen. Really. Check it out. You so half expect him to break into "Somewhere Over The Rainbow".

In flagrante delicto literally means "while the crime is blazing".

My sister brought out an old copy of our (well, her) school magazine which had the following classy quote in it:
"A object is a thing that is having a verb done to it" - some English teacher from my sister's school

Verb: Who's your daddy?
Object: Oh, yes, do me, do me!

...

*cough* Shut up. It's late.

I have so much wax in my hair that I'm starting to resemble...something very waxy. And yet my hair will still not stay up. Am seriously tempted to try another round of the scissors to make it shorter. Perhaps if I use hairspray as well? Is there anyone who spikes their hair and can give advice here?

Oh good. I was hoping I wasn't the only one who noticed this.
My first thought when seeing him was "Eew", then "Froofroo!".

You want Rave #4, a hairspray that I believe IS available in Aus if you look around a bit. www.thecasualties.net <-- these guys are living proof that there is no hairdo it cannot support ;)

There are alternatives, although they are a little icky:
1) Glue. Schoolglue does the trick very well and washes out if you stand under a hot shower for about 10 minutes ;) It's better than my next suggestion because it's odorless and doesn't have any derogatory effects on your hair that I know of.

2) Regular handsoup. If you liquify half a bar as well as you can and throw it in your hair, you can even set a mohawk. Has the additional unfortunate effect of making you stink like a dead animal for the better part of the day :( I suppose maybe adding some mashed soap to the wax you normally set your hair with and then using that blend could eliminate this problem, but I haven't tried.

It probably sounds all so very gross, but I'm a staunch believer in DIY and the peace and order to the galaxy it will eventually bring.

Hope it helped!
/Tias.

Um, okay. Do I need to use the hairspray over wax or something?

The problem with my hair is that it's curly, and it keeps wanting to curl over instead of standing up. I think I need practise. ^^ I'm also considering looking into the various gels... I may be able to find a strong gel, which will set (unlike wax)

what kind of wax are you using? All the boys I know who spike their hair (3 inches high) all have a profound love of "fudge"! I dunno, my hair is far too long to spike, my brother uses gel instead of wax though, if that's a help.

I am using VO5 styling wax super hold because that's what Sarah gave me. I can't afford to buy my own at the mo. :)

My hair's about 3 inches high at the moment. I might look into the fudge thing.
...when I have money. :(

*dies giggling* Oh yeah...

Personal theory, but I think he and the candlestick are going at it.

(Gyah, thanks, I needed the laugh. ^-^)

I've never thought of that particular prince in such a manner before.

*G* Very late. But still rather amusing to me.

Hmmm, I prefer using "styling fudge" as they call it to create a sort of foundation for whatever style I may want to spike the hair, then followed up with a thin-ish layer of ordinary gel over the top just to hold it into place. Don't use hairspray at all, so I wouldn't know how to get help with that part. Cox would be far better at it than me though.

Yeh, that's pretty much what Andie suggested. It'll have to wait until I have the money for styling fudge &c.
thanks.
