Circus!

I wrote a poem on the walk to work, but couldn't be bothered writing it up when I got there. So tired. I had to pause on one of my trips upstairs to my office to rest my head on a riser. I wish I were joking.

I have circus tomorrow! The last class of this term. Unfortunately, after last week when we did TIGHTROPE (my new favourite thing ever and the equipment I was most excited to learn when signing up), I'm not sure this week will compare. But still, it will be circus, which is always fantastic. My circus-friend Fiona and I always turn up vastly overtired, but have pushed ourselves to turn up because we know we'll love it once we're there.

Also, I have a new circus icon. *points* It's made from a lovely piece of vintage artwork, where all the acrobats were women. Appropriate, since I've joined the Women's Circus. I am thrilled with it. It's also the first icon I've made with my shiny new computer, which has GIMP installed on it. So, new program as well.

Also, I went to the library today and picked up the third book in the Art Mumby series, and have borrowed Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I only just started reading (and loving) Justine Larbalestier this year, so I thought on the strength of that I'd try Scott, her partner. Homigod is this book good so far. I hope the library stocks the next two, otherwise I will stamp my little foot. I am getting very tired of libraries only stocking one or two books of a series.

Bed now.
