Sep. 10th, 2009 09:59 pmHad a good day in between horrendous bits (a Mouse Poo incident at work my boss and I had to deal with, and a crushed finger). Wrote one-and-a-half letters (well, one letter and a card). I have yet to write a letter in response to Dickon, who was a darling and wrote me a lovely aerogramme. I intend to find out if Australia Post sells them, which I think they don't. His letter is in my handbag, in any case.
I have a strange desire today to start on a little YA fantasy novel that's been noodling at the back of my mind for a few years. I was playing with it on the tram on the way home. It actually seems to be veering into the Children's realm - it seems to be for a much younger age that I thought at first. However, I rather want to type it on my typewriter, and my poor finger is aching a bit from writing letters (and now typing this). And it's bedtime now.
It's less than a week until I get my new laptop! Which will not have a missing E key. I am excited.
