So sick.
Throat too painful to swallow, sinuses filled with unpleasant yellow mucus. Hurts to breathe because either I have to breathe through my mouth, thus irritating my throat, or if one of my nostrils clears it feels like it's been cleared with hydrochloric acid. And my sinuses hurt from being so wedged full. I didn't sleep last night until after 2.30, partly due to the discomfort. Even my ears hurt, but that's probably due to general head-tube pressure.
I'd say that going to see Amanda Palmer was worth it (it was), but I honestly am not sure that going out last night made me worse that I would have got on my own staying home.
Eugh. I want to sleep, but everything hurts. I was hungry for breakfast, but I can't face having to swallow anything. At least I'm not really feeling hungry any more.
Oh, and, er, I apologise in advance if I leave you comments that are incomprehensible or a little daft. I'm finding it hard to think, or concentrate on very much. This is why I'm online and not reading one of the large pile of books beside my bed.

Date: 2009-03-03 09:41 pm (UTC)When I feel like that, I find that constantly sipping ice-water helps (not just cold-water - fill a glass full of ice and then put cold water on top of it, and drink that).

Date: 2009-03-03 10:29 pm (UTC)(That's exactly how Steph makes me cold water. I actually specified last time to just give me five or so icecubes, but no dice; large glass filled with all the icecubes in the freezer + a little bit of water.)
