changelingSo I'm getting better. My costochondritis is rather worse, though, thanks to the lung-shaking coughing I'm doing. I'm still not sleeping brilliantly, but I have a bed made up in the front room so Steph can sleep. She coaxed me into sleeping with her last night, so when I woke up in the middle of the night coughing so did she, with a sore throat and fever.
Anyway. I should be doing stuff, but it's all I can do really to make sure that Steph's warm and drinking her fluids and stuff. Most of my day's been taken up with picking up her wallet from Keith (she left it at Morris last night) and then sitting with her at the clinic. She now has some Cilamox, which is the antibiotic I was prescribed a few months ago for a bastard cold, and some ginger ale (the doctor said ginger beer or flat lemonade, but Steph wanted ginger ale). She says she might have some dinner, but since breakfast's smoothie ended up down the drain at the doctor's, I'm not sure that's such a great idea.
I should be doing job applications. Or working on bird maps. Or putting my hand up to project-manage the Dionysus anthology at Neos Alexandria. But I just have no brainspace today. No energy. Maybe tomorrow.
