Dec. 19th, 2006 07:13 pm...
I just lost an entire agonised post that I thought had already gone through. Fark.
Short version: I can't get a job, we can't get out of the house, my parents-in-law are freaks who don't like the smell of food. Fuck, fuck, fuckity fuck-fuck.
I think that's about it.

Date: 2006-12-21 12:11 am (UTC)Re: the smell of food. When I was in Godstowe one of my buddies was banished from her kitchen by an evil Housemistress who thought her cooking smelt "too Asian". She was devastated - she loved cooking, so she used to come over and use my kitchen. I hope you in-laws settle down and learn to deal with exotic smells!! xox

Date: 2006-12-21 09:49 am (UTC)Oh, we're allowed to cook, it's just that we have to have the extractor fan on the whole time. Because, y'know, god forbid the kitchen smell like food. I do understand, though. The problem is the kitchen and the lounge are open plan. I dunno, I still think it's dumb.

Date: 2006-12-24 05:46 am (UTC)Steph'll be joining me when her family's Christmas is done, so I guess you might already be gone. We should catch up next year, instead of waiting for next Christmas.
