I look absolutely awesome today.

I finished the overskirt from February today, but ended up eschewing it again in favour of merely the black underskirt I'd been planning on wearing. It's a hand-me-down from Steph, and is black satin, velour and lace in bands down the skirt. It looks surprisingly good with all the petticoats I have underneath to give it body.

I've left my hair unpinned, and I look like a crazy European bohemian. It's brilliant. Unfortunately, I don't know where my purple brooch is, as Steph borrowed it yesterday and couldn't find it in her bag yesterday evening. It's probably travelled back to work with her. Ah, well. I'll have to go via Dangerfield and pick up one of their cameos.

I'm going to drop via florists on the way in and see if I can get some lilac, but if I can't, I may try Lincraft and get some silk flowers instead. Then I'll be wearing black, grey and lilac for Douglas Adams, and for every revolutionary that never got his (or her) hard-boiled egg.

The earlier issues are very good, the later ones aren't so hot. The covers are SO beautiful though!
