I'm feeling kinda flat today. I've just skipped Novel class again because I still haven't written my presentation due a month ago, and don't know what to write. I was thinking of maybe exploring the liminal in children's & young adult fantasy writing, but I don't know if that's too literary (the others have been more practical in terms of relating their topic to writing) or even if I could sustain it for ten minutes or so. Anyone wishing to suggest books in which liminality (either literal or metaphorical) is a key feature is welcome. I can think of Harry Potter & His Dark Materials (edit: and Alice in Wonderland) offhand. Ohgod I'm never going to pass Novel.
I'm just in that sort of mood where I don't want to leave the house, y'know?
In other news, so this post is slightly more happy fun time than my posts have been recently, this is the image I created and have used to do the basic website design for FLD.
