Just had Novel class yesterday. Lucky for me it's the Easter break and that's the only class I had, because I crashed badly three-quarters of the way through. Wednesday with four hours of Young Adults followed by four hours of Editing would have nigh on killed me.

Went to the museum today, for the first time since it opened at the new site on 2000. Went with Steph. We made it through the ground floor of the left wing, then popped into the caf because Steph had only had a banana before leaving the house, silly girl. Then I got tired, but we made it through the Aboriginal display before we went home. We didn't really do the museum in as much detail as I'd like, but the good thing about museums is that one can return to them. We might be doing the top floor on Thursday. Also, and this is the important bit, I spent the day (well, several hours) with Steph and got to kiss her lots, probably scandalising the teachers ushering their primary school students loudly through the exhibits.

I hate getting tired. It's so hard to think, to concentrate, and I seem to spend much of my energy on convincing my mind that yes, it wants to keep my body upright. I'm going to have another day at home tomorrow. Do have to pop out for some items of a personal nature, because that's the sort of thing the universe finds funny: overwhelming tiredness and cramps and backache. Well done universe.

Got the email to let me know that my paid LJ account is expiring at the end of the week. This'll be the first time in, what - two, three years? - that I've had a free account. The last few birthdays I've asked for my parents to buy me a paid account, but this year Dad wanted to upgrade my computer (I didn't ask for it. He just decided that it was what I needed for my birthday), so they didn't. I'm not sure what I'm going to do - I don't know when I next have a shift, so I'm reticent to just pay for another year's worth, in case I need that money for living expenses for the next few weeks. I really wish someone had bought me at least a month or two for my birthday. Feh. I suppose I just ought to do without until I have the spare money, the way I have with books, comics and new CDs. I flipping hate having no spare money. I never had this problem in first year when I worked for TMC. I had two or three shifts of seven or eight hours every week, guaranteed. Now I'm lucky to have one or two shifts of three hours apiece. I really need a new job.

Wow. Isn't my life shiny at the moment?

You mean it wasn't you? Someone's already paid for a year's livejournal for me.

(For future reference, you pay via the "Paid Accounts" link on the main page. It's under the "About" tab in the newest version of the main page.)
