1. I am still amused that David Walliams/Williams from Little Britain was Miss Marple last Sunday. It was a little difficult to take his character seriously, though.
2. I bought a Dorothy L. Sayers book today. I am still disappointed that I did not discover them sooner, as they're like Wodehouse toned back the jokes slightly & started writing mysteries. Oh, the sweet, sweet, literary crack.
2a. If Wodehouse has been writing mysteries, I think I'm going to cry. I've only read a few Jeeves books.
3. I miss my girl. Miss, miss, miss. Why isn't she here? Well, because she doesn't live here.
3a. Dammit.
4. I have written none of my novel today. Guess I'd better catch up tomorrow, eh? ... while having eight solid hours of class. Goody.
5. I am tired and snarky.
6. Why don't you call me anymore? Or write? And where are my fucking flowers?
7. This guy kinda looks like alkie-man from Band of Brothers. You know. Winters' "friend".
8. Nah, I got nuthin'. Go home.

ETA: 8a. Why the living hell does it take an hour to post my shoggoth-damned LJ entry? WHY?

Hooray for the Sayers discovering! Wait 'til you get to Murder Must Advertise, which is the Wodehousiest of them all.

Er, unless, of course, that's the one you're reading. In which case the others aren't quite so much but still excellent. :)

Dammit, I knew that was the one I ought to have bought! It just jumped out at me on the shelf, but noooo. I have to buy Strong Poison.

Oh, well, if I remember correctly, Strong Poison's the first one I read, too. Just gives you something to look forward to. :)

But make sure you read the Harriet ones in order (the other ones don't matter so much), as Have His Carcase isn't nearly as good if you've already read Gaudy Night.

Was he in Miss Marple (who I loved, especially the added mysterious past with extra romantic and hints of lesbian angst) or was he Miss Marple?

In (yay! Lesbian angst!). He was the stutterer.

(I love your icon.)
