THERE IS A JEEVES AND WOOSTER LJ COMMUNITY?? WHY DID NO-ONE TELL ME??

Spent today on fitting rooms (Oh how all fitting rooms shall be BURNED TO THE GROUND once the revolution comes), and then working front of house, canteen and backstage for the ballet concert. No small child urinated down my leg which immediately makes it a hundred times better than last year.

My feet, how they hurt.

They did a good 4 or 5 Masterpeice Theater episodes of 'Jeeves and Wooster'. It was a scream. Stephen Fry (who is one of the funniest people on the planet) played Jeeves. Perfect casting.

I don't know about Masterpiece Theatre - we don't get that here. But there was a whole show of Jeeves and Wooster with Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie (as Bertie). I have the season 1 DVD.

Ok, it in the states is was on Masterpeice Theater and I think they may have had something to do with the production. Im sure. We saw the same thing though. : )

Well, it's not quite the same, but I've also found mp3s of a Stephen Fry radio program from 1988 that's got Hugh Laurie in it (and Emma Thompson, and Jim Broadbent, and others). They're at http://chilled.cream.org/forums/influences.php, at the bottom of the page. Very funny.
