changelingI wish I could say I was bitterly disappointed by the US election results, but frankly I saw it coming. I knew when Howard won that Bush would win. It's a win for terror. Well done to the victors.
Worked for seven and a half hours today. Spent the last two hours going insane because my feet hurt so very very much but I could do nothing to relieve the pain. Also spent last two hours as "greeter", which meant I had to check outgoing bags. One gentleman (hem hem) had a porno in his backpack. This amused me immensely. I think he thought it was very well hidden, but I saw the spine. Nothing else, thank god.
Wrote buggerall, because of work, then had splitting headache. Went into city to meet up with Steph at NaNo meetup, but she never showed. I could've dropped by Coffee Group after all.
Came home, did washing (I'm fucked if it doesn't dry tonight). Talked to Steph for an hour and a half. Felt incredibly nauseous and regretted the Nandos I had on the way home from the meetup. I can feel every potato that died so that I could have a chip.
I'm going to hang out my work clothes and then crash. I'm so far behind word count. And I'm not going to get to write tomorrow either (another 7 1/2 hour shift, then Emily's going away party, then Friday I have D&L class, then workshopping, then our book launch...)
