Aug. 26th, 2004 03:14 amI am feeling surprisingly mellow considering my day.
First, I lost my copy of Night Watch. Which is my favourite Pratchett. Which is a signed hardback in excellent nick. Which I'd only just begun to reread. And was at a thrilling bit with Vimes and Carcer atop UU's library dome.
BAH.
And then when I came home and went to put my copy of Wendy's new CD, I discovered the CD player part of my stereo has died.
I SHAKE MY FISTS AT YOU, HEAVENS! Or to quote Edmund B., Fortune vomits on my eiderdown once more.
I really, really hope I find my book. I love that book. And dammit, I want to finish reading it.
