I'm so fucken proud. I have the Chasing Amy opening theme stuck in my head now, though.
I had another Production Meeting today. The second in two days, would you believe. I would have enjoyed it more had I had more sleep, and...well, if I'd had more sleep. And if I didn't have to work tomorrow. This means that Monday was my single free day this week, with both Tuesday and Wednesday being Production Meeting days, and Thursday through to Sunday being work. In addition, Nat and I were watching Series 3 of Buffy (just over halfway through), and the video we put in didn't work. At all. The best we got was a couple of stills while the video thought it was being played. Weevil. Worse, it was the video with Nat's all-time favourite episode (Bad Girls) on it. Evil rented videos.
So why am I so comparatively happy? Who knows. Certainly makes a change from all those days when something nice'll happen and I'll still feel rotten. Damn to be slave to those raging chemicals.
Been tired all day, though. I got about seven hours sleep, but I still haven't properly woken up yet. It's almost midnight though, and I have to get up at eleven tomorrow for work, so I won't go to bed later than one, I promise. (That's a pie-crust promise; easily made, easily broken.)
Got a tiny bit written on the Evil-Thou-Shalt-Not-Speak-Its-Name NaNoWriMo novel Sunday night. I'm currently working on the relationship between Liz and Diana. I'm basically writing chapters that will fit in with what I've already written. I have yet to work my way around the EEEEVIL plot knot I've gotten myself into, and at the moment, I'm just trying not to think about it. I wish I could do what that hero did in the (think it was) Greek myth (or like Carelinus did to the Tsortean Knot in The Last Hero) - ie, cleft it in twain (cut it with his sword) rather than untie it.
Haven't done any comics for awhile, though. That's bad.
Pfft. Bugger all that for a lark. I may have ulcers from too much sugar recently, but they're battle scars. I journeyed through the Valley of...Simple Carbohydrates and have come out alive (but with a bit of a stomachache). I have mythology books to read, stories to write and much Buffy slash to delve into.
And much Exploitation Now archives to explore.
