Goddamn I'm tired. I should have been working on my editing assignment last night, but nooo. I went out to a concert and then came back and talked to Buhfly and Billradish. It's been nice seeing them again, but I have not been a good biscuit. Bad me!

Eh. I workshopped a bit of S.B. today. That'll teach me to workshop chapters out of order. Next time, I bring the next chapter, even if I've w/s'ed it with our Wednesday group. Bah. Olga (teacher) tore it to shreds again. In a helpy kinda way. She just doesn't ("get what I'm doing!") really like or understand YA fiction, and her favourite sort of story doesn't have a plot. It's all character-based, baby. All the way. She insinuated in class today that plot is for inferior writers. She's a nice person, and a good teacher, but I tend to disagree violently with whatever she thinks about my story. Which probably makes her useful. I know she's not a sycophant in any way.

I'm so tired that my brain is stopping working. I think I'll do a bit of work on my Editing, and then I'll just skip Comp Studies and work on it tomorrow.

...sounds like your teacher would be good for me. I have a few stories with no real plot and it drives me batty trying to figure out how I'm going to write them.
