Nyssa drew me out of the house tonight to go and see One Perfect Day, which is an Australian film that is FUCKING AWESOME. If there were any justice in this world it would win an Oscar, but it won't, because it's small budget, and hello, Australian. If you have the opportunity, GO SEE IT. If you don't, wait until it's out on DVD and buy or rent it. It's amazing. Like, breakably wonderful.


I got my first birthday present today. It's a kinda opalescent disc mounted in silver on a black leather thong. Totally not what I'd get for myself, but it's pretty and I'm getting used to it. Jill picked it out, and it's so her style. I still remember the silver dolphin dangy earrings with mother-of-pearl or whatever inset. This is somewhat classier, however.

Because, by the way? It's my birthday next Friday. You should all be sending libations. Because I said so. And I am full of wit. Or something, anyway. I have these tummy pains.

(The presumably hetero Bobby has just kissed the allegedly hetero John to shut him up. I play the angst-ridden and mildly homophobic John. Of course.)


I'm feeling so much less depressive that earlier tonight. Thank god. Because Lamb's Gorecki on repeat is not good. Gorecki and Gabriel were both in the soundtrack of the above movie, by the way. Muchly with the good music. Go see One Perfect Day. Don't make me break your fingers.

I'm occasionally a little OCD. As soon as I noticed one discrepancy, I made a list and went through making sure nobody had any extra ones that I hadn't seen yet... >_>; That and actually reading the things is what took up most of the time.

*grins* I like Warren. He likes winding people up, especially if those people are John (because you can get such a good response from him) or Ali. He's the gayest straight man ever, I swear, and find it easier to befriend girls. Mind you, considering he bunks with Jono (a ridiculously antisocial bastard) and Brian (ridiculously self-obsessed), that's hardly surprising.

Nat (<lj user=velvetglitter) plays Bobby and Madrox. :) I like the way she plays Jamie. The last game I played with her someone else played Jamie and he was obnoxious.

It's a bit odd though because when I saw the trailer in the cinema I thought it was one of those tacky pretend movie trailers that are really adds for electronic thingos!
It took me 5 minuites to figure out it wasn't!
