Photos

[changeling]

Because I'm in a crappy mood, I prepared my favourite of the photos I took whilst away in NSW. They're "arty" rather than personal interest--my feet make an appearance, but that's it. This is really just my love of landscape photography. I'm really quite proud of them. I don't expect anyone beyond verian and maybe buhfly and billradish to take an interest. There's about 12 photos.

O'course, I don't need to tell you that they're mine, I own them. No unauthorised reproduction, hotlinking, nicking for icons, etc etc etc. Mine.

I especially like no.5, it really drags you straight into it. Your feet are one of those Happy Accidents, that actually add to the image. =D

That last one is amazing. The second and third (beach and sand) are really lovely as well, but I must admit a penchant for the woods. The 11th one (sand path into woods) is very much a place I'd like to just be. They're so peaceful; even the platform one.

I've gone and actually put numbers to them, now. Should have done that before. I *think* you mean the one that's now revealed itself to be number 12, and I really like that one, too. There's a wonderful dark quality to the wood contrasted by the sand.

The platform is from a country town, where the trains don't go by very often. No wonder it's peaceful. ^_^

The mauve quality to the light in the last and the sense of isolation are wonderful, you're right to be most proud of it I think. They're all good though.

...I don't know enough about cameras to make snazzy sounding comments still. XD But I agree, that last one is gorgeous. And the one with your feet is fantastic! Love the way you captured the light on the water.

Heh, neither do I. I used my digital camera. I took about 70 shots that morning. These are the best ones. Some of the photos were a bit similar, too, because I was fooling around with black & white and sepia.

i love all the pics where the sand is the main feature! Very funky.

The B&W of the beach is most excellent too.

And I'll have to say that the water shot with your foot in it is one of my favourites.

Oooh, neat photos. I like the one with the patterns in the sand (it's the sort of thing I'd take :-) ).

and I love love love the 3rd, 9th, 11th, and 14th especially. But I think 11 is my favourite. What beach is it? It looks a little familiar...

Thanks. I'm really proud of them, too. It's Seven Mile Beach, in Gerringong. Except for the first one, which I'm pretty sure was taken in Kiama. That's probably Surf Beach or something.

They're beautiful. I always prefer pictures of places and things rather than people... More fun to take and look at... Of course, then I have to endure The Boy's Grandmother asking me why we never have any pictures of us! Oh well...
