changelingTry as I can, I still haven't been able to approach this damn novel from another perspective, and I also haven't been able to think of a plot for a new one...at all. No plot. Nada.
Methinks it's time to break out the butcher's paper...I'm going to purchase a large sheet of paper, preferably coloured. It's going to be one of those big sheets I used to do projects on when I was in high school (and so innocent...well, more or less). I'm gonna buy me a big-arsed texta; like a posca or similar. I'm going to lay this stuff out on the floor and attempt to plot-plan.
And I'll probably talk to Liam. He's very good when it comes to plot-planning. Talking at/with/to him helps a lot. And (as has already been commented on) we're practically the same person (within reason, of course) so I can count it as all my own work. Or something.
I need a new Neil Gaiman novel. Badly. I think I'll just go to bed (meeting at Union house tomorrow at 12) and listen to Neil Gaiman narrate some of his stories. Or I could finish reading Smoke and Mirrors, but I suspect it will just get me depressed about the utter lack of storyness in my own life at present.
