Nov. 18th, 2003 10:18 pmI managed to completely forget about coffee group yesterday. *facepalm* Too busy with cleaning and doing laundry and so forth. Steph came over last night and we made lasagne, and watched Daria, and stayed up talking until 8am this morning. We're going to see the Matrix tomorrow! That'll be good, so long as I don't forget. Honestly... I'm hopeless.
I've picked up my NaNo again this evening. Damn my own fussbudgetness for checking up on the date for the word fussbudget. It dates to around five years after my narrative. I think, come December, I shall be very tempted to give in and rewrite it as set in the 20s. Then Bertie and Deirdre can be as Wodeish as they wish. *glares at them*

-_^? Was fussbudget which came into use only during five years past your narrative, or was it only officially classed as a word five years past your narrative? I dunno, was just thinking that if it was a word which was phased in gradually to common vocabulary and slang then it would be able to be used somewhat "exclusively" by people five years beforehand. But that's just me

Date: 2003-11-18 05:40 am (UTC)Nah, this would be a "first recorded usage" thing. It's *possible* that it was used previously, but then it may not have been.
