I managed to completely forget about coffee group yesterday. *facepalm* Too busy with cleaning and doing laundry and so forth. Steph came over last night and we made lasagne, and watched Daria, and stayed up talking until 8am this morning. We're going to see the Matrix tomorrow! That'll be good, so long as I don't forget. Honestly... I'm hopeless.

I've picked up my NaNo again this evening. Damn my own fussbudgetness for checking up on the date for the word fussbudget. It dates to around five years after my narrative. I think, come December, I shall be very tempted to give in and rewrite it as set in the 20s. Then Bertie and Deirdre can be as Wodeish as they wish. *glares at them*

Why not just start writing it that way now, with a disclaimer on it saying that the time period changed while you were working? Then you'd have less to re-write.

*dies* I could. But on the other hand, I'd still prefer it Victorian Era. We'll see who wins the battle of wills...

*grin* Best of luck, then. I've never been able to force my muses to do much of anything...

We have the same problem with you. Would you focus please?

* pat pat * There there, it'll happen. At least you remembered it at some port in time. At any sort, you still had fun with Misti & Daria & all, and I suppose in the greater, grand scheme of things, that could count for something.
Though it would probably be a good thing to come next week, as it is pretty much the send-off for Suzie. ^_^

-_^? Was fussbudget which came into use only during five years past your narrative, or was it only officially classed as a word five years past your narrative? I dunno, was just thinking that if it was a word which was phased in gradually to common vocabulary and slang then it would be able to be used somewhat "exclusively" by people five years beforehand. But that's just me

Misti? You mean Steph...

Nah, this would be a "first recorded usage" thing. It's *possible* that it was used previously, but then it may not have been.
