I LOVE Rosenkrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.

"Do you think Death could be a boat?"
"No. Death is not. Death isn't. You get my meaning? You can't not be on a boat."
"I've frequently not been on boats."
"No, what you've been is not on boats."

Glee! I have somuchlove for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead. If I were to have a sex change, it would be so I could play one of the two--I prefer Guil, but I know I'd be playing Ros.

HA!

Weirdly enough, I can see you playing Rosenkrantz. :)

*grins* It's because of my wacky, yet slightly clueless nature, yes?

ROS: [...] Do you ever think of yourself as dead, lying in a box with a lid on it?
GUIL: No.
ROS: Nor do I, really... It's silly to be depressed by it.

I wouldn't say clueless</>... Clueless people don't like Stoppard. :)

Player: We're ACTORS! We're the opposite of people!

Glee! So much love for that line!

Zan did an illustration of me awhile ago, and put that quote with it...

I LOVE ROS AND GUIL! AHHHHHHHH! I'm a Ros and Guil fangirl if there is such a thing! My monologue for drama was actually the very one of which you speak. "Don't you see? We're actors--we're the opposite of people!"

GOD I love it. And I still remember it. Ahhh.

And I love Guildenstern. The ending he has is so amazing. I just ... that play has quite the point, is what I'm saying.

A couple of my old school friends used the question game to audition once. :)

Yeah. I was actually talking to my drama teacher about it shortly before you I saw this entry, she said someone she knew had also done that for an audition. It seems to be a favorite for auditions.

It is indeed a good bit.

*nods* I've played the question game, with friends. It's rather difficult. :)
