If I had known that sewing gloves was going to be so hard, I would have gone back to my old hobby of trying to pick up straight chicks. That was slightly less frustrating.
Yes. But if I then go "Dani said this" it becomes a quote. (Must.. not.. say savvy.. must... not.. quote.. PotC...) So what I mean is, as always you come out with things that are amusing and incredibly quotable and also a bit sad, sometimes. *g*But think this even beats your vat of cool maturity.
Yes. And I can say I have never had the urge in my life, before. But I have Johnny Depp's pirate voice running through my head, maybe that accounts for it. People tend to do all sorts of things based on movies, though.Like.. um. Okay, erm there are examples somewhere. Will give you one once I get back from running around the house yelling "arrrrr"
I'm told that self-deprecating humour is something uniquely Australian, in that it's one of the types of comedy that we employ most often. Buffy uses it sometimes, come to think of it... it's a very post-modern phenomenon, I suppose.
I just have a whole lot of gay-seeming straight male friends. :D
And a couple of gay male friends. But they're in the majority. Unfortunately, apart from one bi female friend, I seem to have solely straight female friends, dammit.
I have 1 close straight female friend (although she has bi tendencies) lots of fay male friends, and a number of lesbian friends. Most of whom are homebodies like myself, but then, we have careened into our late 30's now.

Date: 2003-09-17 06:47 am (UTC)This was not correct, as the idea of "fingerless" gloves is a LIE.
Still, if this works, if they fit, I'll have very cool "fingerless" gloves.
